Get Willem and Carla to make you up a picnic and wander your way down to Homunga Bay and while the day away relaxing on the beach. Take a good book plus some sunscreen plus a bottle of your favourite tipple with a couple of glasses to go with the picnic.
The start of the walk is downhill through farmland after wheich you enter the the coastal bush track for the final section down to the beautiful white-sand beach. Be prepared for a fairly steep climb on the way back - save a bit of energy for the return trip. It's a small price to pay to spend some time on this pristine part of New Zealand's coast :)
