Walks in the Karangahake Gorge can take as little or as long as you like. The windows walk takes approximately half an hour but you can walk for up to 4 or 5 hours should you wish through the stunning Karangahake gorge taking in gold mining history from the late 1800's.
If you are a keen biker, the Hauraki Rail Trail also runs through the gorge.
