Walk to Orakawa Bay

The walk from Waihi Beach to Orakawa Bay from Waihi Beach takes anything from 35 - 45 minutes one way depending on your fitness level. Its a coastal bush walk taking in the views out to Mayor Island as you walk your way to Orakawa Bay and back.

Enjoy a picnic lunch under the many overhanging pohutukawa trees. Fish (with care) off the rocks at the northern end of the beach.
